Painted Prayer Table from Mongolia - 19th Century

An excellent example of a painted antique Mongolian prayer table dating from the 19th century. This particular prayer table is decorated with simple bold colours around the sides and the top depicts blossoming lotus flowers emerging from the water. 

This antique low table From Mongolia was originally used as a prayer table. With two drawers below with ample storage, it works perfectly in a modern home as a coffee table.

Originally dating from the 19th century and painted using stone pigments. Our expert team has sensitively restored this piece, cleaning the residue whilst retaining its age and patina.
