Old Tribal Mortar From Nagaland - Ca 1920
This old mortar is from Nagaland and in East India and was originally used for the pounding of grains. It is crafted from a single piece of solid teak wood. This amazing piece of timber would make an iconic statement piece coffee table. Over many decades of constant use, this piece has developed a smooth finish and rich patina.
