Carved Indian Harpa Box From Banswara - 19th Century
Harpa boxes were used by Indian shopkeepers as money boxes. This large box is decorated with stylistic two horses heads. The style is indicative of pieces from the Bhil tribe in Banswara province. The box has a wonderful patina and shows very good age.
