Military boxes and chests were used by officers of the British Indian Army to carry their kit and personal possessions whilst on tour, they were made to order and had to withstand a lot of punishment in transit. This box has a rich patina and the interior is split into three seperate compartments. Perfect for a jewelery box or desk tidy.
